About the Role
As a Sales Development Representative at Ravenna, you’ll be on the front lines of our go-to-market engine. You’ll be responsible for driving new pipeline by identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective customers. Your outreach will be targeted. You’ll identify accounts that fit our ICP, identity decision makers, and get meetings on the calendar. This is a high-impact role where you’ll partner closely with Ravenna’s founders to fuel Ravenna’s growth.
What You Will Do
- Drive Pipeline: Research and engage target accounts through email, social, events, and outbound calls, booking qualified meetings that directly contribute to pipeline growth.
- Qualify & Discover: Respond to inbound leads, run discovery calls, and ensure a steady flow of highly qualified prospects entering the sales funnel.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with founder (Kevin) to refine ICP and personas, share prospect insights, and execute account-based campaigns.
- Leverage Tools & Process: Manage activities and opportunities in CRM (we use Clarify), and use sales engagement tools to scale personalized outreach efficiently.
- Measure & Optimize: Track key metrics, meetings booked, pipeline created, conversion rates, and use insights to continually improve performance.
About You
- 1–2 years of experience as a top performing BDR/SDR, sales development, or early-career sales roles. Startup experiences is a plus.
- Strong communication skills. You are confident, clear, and persuasive in both written and verbal outreach.
- Resilient and resourceful. You comfortable with high activity, learning from rejection, and iterating fast.
- Curious about technology and motivated to learn about AI, infrastructure, and developer platforms.
- Ambitious self-starter with a growth mindset, excited to build a career in sales.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment with ambiguity and rapid change.
